has focused his research on the short story in English<\/span> for the last few years. He is particularly interested in exploring the ways ideological discourse<\/span> is reproduced and undermined in literary text. In Women\u2019s Tales, his major focus is the short fiction of Scottish writer Janice Galloway<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n He was the supervisor<\/span> of a project titled Modernism, Postmodernism and the English Short Story<\/span> funded by the Galician Regional Government for the period 2008-2011 and is currently supervising the project Women\u2019s Tales<\/span>, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness for the period 2015-2016.<\/span><\/p>\n Sacido-Romero is Senior Lecturer in English<\/span> at the Department of English and German Philology of the University of Santiago de Compostela<\/span>, Spain.
