Laura Torres-Zúñiga
has focused her research on the short story, both American and British, cultural studies –in particular on postmodern psychoanalytical theories—and the narrative work of American playwright Tennessee Williams. In Women’s Tales, her work focuses on the short fiction by Helen Simpson.
Torres-Zúñiga is Lecturer of English at the Languages Department of the Catholic University of Murcia, Spain. She is also a participant in the European Network for Short Fiction Research.
Research interests: short story, cultural studies, psychoanalysis, women’s studies, drama.
